REDEcomputers can provide secure online support at the click of a button using Remote Support. This service allows a REDEcomputers technician to securely connect to your computer to carry out repairs remotely, as long as you have an Internet connection.
Remote support allows us to fix your computer issues promptly without visiting your site. This exciting service saves you valuable time and money by ensuring that your downtime is minimised. What does this mean for you? You can get back to the business of serving your clients sooner!
How does remote support work?
Just 3 easy steps.
- Click the "Connect to Remote Support" button on this page.
- Click "Run" or click "Save" to save this essential tool onto your computer for use at a later time.
- Wait for the box to display your ID and PASSWORD, and give these details to your REDEcomputers technician over the phone. This will allow them to securely access your computer.
Now sit back and watch as the technician moves your mouse around the screen fixing your computer. It's that easy!
Once the session is over, the technician will disconnect. For added security, you can disconnect at any time simply by clicking "Disconnect". Also, once the session is over, the ID and PASSWORD are no longer valid.
Note: Business clients using a server would be accessed using a slightly different method.
